How do I rent a self-storage unit?

Renting a unit is easy. Just follow these steps.

• Call the office first to ensure the size of unit you want is available.
• Drop by the office and sign a lease that outlines the terms of the rental.
• If you cannot come by the office, the lease agreement may be signed and faxed to the office with payment made by Visa or Master Card via the telephone.
• Payment for the first month's rent is made at the time the lease is signed as well as a security deposit.  
• The security deposit is refunded when you vacate, as long as the unit is clean, empty and undamaged.
• Rents are charged on a monthly basis, beginning from the day the lease is signed until the same date the next month.

Can I reserve a unit?

Rentals are on a first come first serve basis. You may put your name on a waiting list if you want a specific size unit and it is unavailable.

Are there items I am not allowed to store?

Items cannot be combustible, hazardous, poisonous or illegal. There cannot be any open food.

What are the initial charges when first renting a unit?

Rents are paid one month in advance so the first month's rent is due upon rental. In addition, a one time administration fee of $10.00 is charged and the refundable deposit. The deposit is $25, $50 or $100, depending on the size of the unit.

What are my payment options?

Cash, Cheque, Visa, MasterCard or Debit are all accepted.

What will I need to bring when I rent a unit?

You will need photo ID, a lock for the unit (available for sale at the office) and payment for the initial charges.

Do you sell moving supplies?

Yes. Moving and records storage boxes, wardrobe boxes, bubble wrap, locks, mattress covers and clean newsprint are all available for sale.
